Best way to shave legs

We all have to shave our legs at some point or other!

I know you already know how to shave your legs.  It’s easy eh?  I’m not trying to teach you to suck eggs, but just try my way and see if you like it.

This way can only be done if you have about 30 minutes.  Okay here goes:-

Run a warm bath with your favorite bubble bath.  Use a wet flannel to exfoliate your legs.  The warm water will open the pores so that more hair can be shaved.  Shave your legs as you would normally.

Once you’re finished and out of the bath, pat your legs dry and use a good moisturizer.  I put my moisturizer in the fridge so that the coldness will close up the pores.  This makes my legs even smoother.  Always put a standard moisturizer on first before using any type of fake tan.

The two key things to remember are never dry shave your legs and always use shaving foam or gel.  Any brand will work.  I have found no substantial difference in any of the shaving foam and gel products.  I have even used soap in an emergency which worked fine!

The bikini area can be more sensitive.  Many get a shaving rash when using a razor on this area.  To avoid a shaving rash consider using a depilatory cream or a wet dry shaver such as the Phillips body shave.  Although I don’t quite understand why these different methods reduce a rash, they do.  If you get a rash use Sudocream.

If your in a hurry and don’t have time the use pamper yourself with this regime perhaps you could consider buying the intuition razor which has soap on the razor head.

Remember the day after you shave your legs is the perfect time to use a permanent laser hair removal product.  Permanent home laser hair removal products like the silk’n or Rio x60 will be at their optimum efficiency due to hair follicles being in the “growing phase”.
